We are living in a world without a single treaty limiting the number of strategic nuclear weapons—the threat of proliferation is again at our doorstep. Are we in a new nuclear arms race? Will the world see an increase in nuclear-armed states in the coming years? What is distinct about this strategic nuclear environment?

Join us on November 12 at 6:00pm ET for this Ethics Empowered: Leadership in Practice convening on the new debate around nuclear weapons. This event will be moderated by Kathleen Egan, Carnegie Council’s senior program associate and nuclear ethics programming lead.

This event series is designed for students and young professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of geopolitics and applied ethics. Register to attend this panel discussion and Q&A with the speakers. Attendees will also receive tailored content from the Carnegie Council team, and editors of the Ethics & International Affairs journal.
